Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 August 2026
1. Overview
This policy explains how Sequence X Ltd (trading as CallHound) handles personal data when providing our missed-call rescue service and operating this website. We act as a processor for much of the data handled on behalf of our business subscribers, and as a controller for our own subscriber and website data.
2. What we process
- Subscriber data: business contact details, team member names and mobile numbers you add, billing information (processed by Stripe — we do not store card details).
- Caller and enquiry data: telephone numbers, call metadata (time, duration, outcome), and the content of SMS and web-chat conversations with the assistant, including names, addresses and job details callers choose to share.
- Website data: limited technical information needed to serve the site, and a locally-stored session identifier for the chat widget (see Cookies).
3. Why and on what basis
We process this data to deliver the service (performance of contract with our subscribers), to secure and improve it (legitimate interests), and to meet legal obligations. Conversation content is processed to generate responses and lead summaries — that is the product working as described.
4. Who helps us process it
We use carefully-chosen providers to run the service: Twilio (telephony and SMS), Anthropic (AI processing of conversation content), Stripe (payments), and our cloud hosting and database provider. Some providers process data outside the UK; where they do, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK Addendum to Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. Retention
Lead and conversation data is retained while the relevant subscription is active so subscribers can use their history, and deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period after account closure, except where retention is required for legal or billing purposes.
6. Your rights
Individuals have rights under UK GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection. If your data was processed because you contacted one of our subscribers, that business is the controller for your enquiry — contact them in the first instance, or contact us and we will assist. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
